Palette knives, brushes, fingers, rags, and anything else within reach are the tools with which I try to bend reality to stir the emotions.I use oils and acrylics to create abstracts, portraits and figures that are rooted in Expressionism and enlivened by the bold use of color and form. I am currently collaborating with a writer/poet on a series of text paintings. I am a founding member of the BrennabuArts, Community of Artists - a group with studios on the south coast of Rhode Island, Smith Island on Chesapeake Bay and Baltimore, Maryland.
