Julia Adams

Julia Adams is an artist, working in her studio on Long Island. She is a surrealist, combining reality and fantasy, as her vibrant imagination dictates. Color is a very important part of her work. Recently, she has created a cycle of paintings in blue, a color which she regards as universal and beautiful, and a color which provides a special, subtle intensity. Julia is inspired by nature, with her greatest inspiration being trees, a subject which frequently appears in her paintings.
