Amy Mackie is an assistant curator at the New Museum of Contemporary Art, New York. Located in the Bowery section of Manhattan, The New Museum is a home for contemporary art and an incubator for new ideas. Ms. Mackie works to develop and produce exhibitions devoted to contemporary art practices. Ms. Mackie has vast experience as an independent curator in New York City. She has worked with a number of mid-career and emerging artists including Andrea Geyer, Paul Ramirez Jonas, and Ana Prvacki. She has also served as a visiting critic for Parsons The New School for Design, guest lecturer for Bard College, and lecturer for Art in General, New York.
