Tina Kukielski is Senior Curatorial Assistant at the Whitney Museum of American Art. Her curatorial credits include The Freedom Salon exhibition with Apsara DiQuinzio at Deitch Projects (The Freedom Salon brought together work by over 40 contemporary artists, including Mel Chin, Sam Durant, Yoko Ono, Martha Rosler, Julia Sher, and Olav Westphalen) and The New City : Sub/urbia in Recent Photography . She has co-organized The American Effect: Global Perspectives on the United States 1990-2003 and Tim Hawkinson with Lawrence Rinder as well as Elisabeth Sussman’s exhibition, Remote Viewing: Invented Worlds in Recent Painting and Drawing. Ms. Kukielski authored the artist chronology for the Matta-Clark exhibition catalogue and organized the retrospective of the work of Gordon Matta-Clark.
