Submissions:
The Suffolk Registry is open to all Suffolk County residents who are at least 18 years of age and not enrolled in a degree-granting educational program. Complete the Registry Application (link below) and submit as an email attachment to SuffolkRegistry@stacarts.org
. You must include the following materials:
- A brief statement for the registry - must be in Microsoft word and be no longer that 250 words.
- Up to three digital images for your page - Digital image format should be .jpeg, max size 3.5" at 72 dpi (252 pixels x 252 pixels)
- Visual artists must name their images: your last name, title of work
- Categories other than visual artist may submit up to three photos or other images
- Musicians may submit a short MP3 or WAV file for their page
- All artists must have a brief statement, at least one image and at least one form of contact for their page to be considered.
Artist's Responsibilities:
Artists listed in the registry are required to comply with the following:
- The artist acknowledges the work to be their own, and that it does not impinge on the copyright of others
- The artist agrees to acknowledge all other parties involved in images of collaborative works
- Negotiation and outcome of professional opportunities, resulting from clients viewing the registry is 100% the responsibility of the artist involved
- The artist will be fully responsible and liable for fulfilling all obligations under any contract or commission entered into as a result of being on the registry
